Pak terrorist caught in Gurez leads to arms haul

In perhaps one of the biggest arms hauls in Jammu and Kashmir in recent times, the Army has recovered a huge quantity of explosives, arms and ammunition from the Shamshabari Range of Gurez Sector.Sources in the Army said that a Pakistani terrorist captured during the Gurez encounter in March led them to the arms haul.The haul includes 32 kg of RDX, many AK-47s rifles and grenade launchers among others.Infiltration by Pakistani terrorists along the LoC and international border has been on the rise in the last couple of months.At a press conference in Srinagar, Army said that arrested militant told them about 31 other infiltrators who were with him. They also added that the Army has killed 53 terrorists in the Valley this year.The arrested militant too spoke about the operation at the press conference."We were sent so commanders here could use us for operations. I was caught when I was trying to return to Pakistan," he said.He also said that militants who operate in India have nothing to do with Taliban.The captured terrorist also revealed that a 121 Pakistani terrorists have entered India through the LoC. The terrorist, Syed Moinullah, said that he is from Pir Panjal in the North West Frontier Province.He also revealed that nine of the terrorists were killed but the rest are roaming free.
